Internal link association properties
On the Internal link association properties tab, which is present when you have selected a new or existing internal link in a database definition, you set up this internal link between two or more existing data dictionary fields. From Designer 7.13, this tab offers the possibility to set up the auto-populating of a reversely associated field in an internally linked record with an entry-dependant default value.
Click here for information on how to edit properties in general. And click here to read about how to manage objects in the tree view in the Application browser. On the current tab you'll find the following settings:
Association field
In the Association field property you enter the name of a field in which a value from the Association column in the list on this properties tab must be entered.
Reverse association field
In the Reverse association field (if not greyed out), enter the name of a field in which a value from the Reverse association column in the list on this properties tab must be entered. If the Reverse association field property cannot be filled in, then it is implied that the Association field will also be used as the Reverse association field. (The internal link type determines whether you can select one or two fields.)
Association - Reverse association
Enter the desired value pairs. You can specify as many value pairs as you like. Both values in a row can be the same too.
