Export format properties
On the Export job properties (meaning: export format properties) tab, which is present when you have selected a new or existing export format for a data source in an application in the Application browser, you specify the export format that must be available from within the current data source. When export formats have been specified for a data source, an Xslt option will be visible in the Format drop-down in the Export dialog in Collections; when selected, a Style Sheet drop-down will display to the right, from which the desired custom export format stylesheet can be selected.
In the right-click pop-up menu for a data source in a pbk, simply select New > Export job (meaning export format) to add a new export format.
Click here for information on how to edit properties in general. And click here to read about how to manage objects in the tree view in the Application browser. On the current tab you'll find the following settings:
If you want to use a custom adapl for this export format, to pre-process record data before it is handed over to the XSLT stylesheet, then select the desired ADAPL procedure on your system. You can also type the path and name of the adapl yourself. Do not enter an extension.

This option allows you to set one or more XSLT stylesheets to be used as an export format. XSLT stylesheets are UTF-8 encoded text files with the extension .xsl or .xslt. XSLT 3.0 and earlier versions are supported.
All entered stylesheets for an export format are executed in sequence, from top to bottom, when exporting. This allows you to spread complicated transformations over different stylesheets.
Tip: a paid-for XSLT stylesheet for export of object data to EODEM (Exhibition Object Data Exchange Model) exchange files can be ordered from Axiell. The registration of third-party objects for loans and exhibitions is greatly simplified when participating parties support the generation and import of data via the EODEM.
Enter a name for this export format in one or as many languages as you wish to make available to users in the Collections interface.
To elucidate this export format you may provide short descriptions. These will not be visible to the user.
